While living and traveling in the tropics, founders of Just Made, Walter & Norka Nimocks, encountered a remarkable variety of tropical fruits. Walter was amazed at the uniqueness of these fruits and began exploring their nutritional characteristics, along with the “functional” properties of herbs and plants like maca root, ginger, turmeric and more. Not only were tropical juices great-tasting but they offered superior health benefits. A few years later Walter returned to the United States with a passion for sharing these “secrets of the tropics” with his family and friends—and now you!

“Growing up on a farm in middle America taught me about hard work and how global agricultural markets function. In the agricultural value chain, farmers typically receive the least amount for their produce. They work hard, take the most risk, and are often rewarded the least. Many times, they are happy to just cover their costs of production, while brokers and intermediaries earn a fixed profit. Just Made is about being just with our farmers, so that they too benefit from their hard work and willingness to take risks for our enjoyment.”

When you buy a bottle of Just Made Juice, you are helping to give back to our farming communities, with 5¢ from every bottle supporting local schools. We work with school administrators and teachers to determine the best uses for these funds, and invest in training, supplies and sometimes basic infrastructure. The fund is managed by Just Made, so 100% of the money goes towards supporting education for our farming families.
